Ginger and Cinnamon Tea

Is there anything more delightful in autumn than snuggling up in a comfy armchair with a fluffy blanket on your lap, your favourite book, and a mug of aromatic, hot tea? Winter tea with turmeric, fresh ginger, cinnamon, and slices of fresh lemon, sweetened with honey, will not only warm you beautifully on gloomy, cold autumn days and make time spent with a book in hand more pleasant, but also effectively contribute to boosting your immune system.

Ingredients:

  • 3 teaspoons of loose-leaf black tea
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 3 slices of lemon
  • approx. 3 cm peeled ginger root
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Preparation:

  1. Pour the black tea leaves into a tea infuser. Open your spice jar and measure out 1 teaspoon of turmeric, adding it to the infuser along with the cinnamon stick.
  2. Boil water, wait 3 minutes, then pour over the mixture.
  3. Next, add the peeled and grated ginger, lemon slices, and honey. Stir well.
  4. Wait a few minutes for the infusion to develop an intense colour.
  5. The tea is now ready! All that's left is to pour it into a large mug and savour the taste of this autumn infusion.

Warming Raspberry Tea

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons loose-leaf green tea
  • 300 ml hot water
  • cinnamon stick
  • sprig of rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 slices of lemon
  • 6 frozen raspberries

Preparation:

  1. Pour the green tea leaves into a tea infuser, also add cinnamon and rosemary. Pour hot water over it and wait a few minutes.
  2. Pour the brewed tea into a mug, add honey, and stir. Also add lemon and raspberries.

Winter Tea with Apple, Cinnamon, and Cranberry

A warming tea with apple, cinnamon, and cranberry, with the addition of warming spices and honey, is a delicious drink that will not only perfectly warm a body chilled by the autumn weather but also support it and help it recover faster if you catch a cold.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons loose-leaf black tea
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 apple
  • 50 g fresh or frozen cranberries
  • cinnamon stick
  • star anise
  • a few cloves
  • approx. 3 centimetres of ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Ingredients for cranberry syrup:

  • 100 g cranberries
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup water

Preparation:

  1. First, prepare the cranberry syrup. Add cranberries, sugar, and one cup of water to a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer on the lowest setting until the consistency resembles syrup.
  2. Pour hot water over the tea leaves. Let it steep for a few minutes.
  3. Peel and grate the ginger.
  4. Add sliced apple, cranberries, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, ginger, and honey to a jug. Pour the hot tea infusion over everything. Finally, add the cranberry syrup. Stir.
  5. Pour the tea into mugs or tea cups and serve.

Preparation:

  1. Using a citrus juicer, squeeze the juice from the lemon and orange.
  2. Peel the ginger and cut it into thin slices.
  3. Brew the tea in an infuser or a teapot with a strainer.
  4. Add the squeezed citrus juices and ginger slices to the vessel.
  5. Close the infuser or teapot and wait a few minutes until the infusion becomes intense and aromatic.
  6. Use a honey and jam spoon to scoop the right amount of honey and sweeten the tea. Stir well.
