The color of the year 2025 is... delicious Mocha Mousse!
Mocha Mousse is a soft variety of brown, full of rich tones and sensuality that spreads an aura of calm, comfort and warmth. Milk chocolate or chocolate mousse seems a natural reference here. The Pantone Institute's annual color of the year selection is also a kind of attempt to capture the spirit of the times, social moods and collective desires.
Pantone Color Institute vice-president Laurie Pressman motivates the decision to choose Mocha Mouse as follows:
'For Pantone Color of the Year 2025, we are looking for a soft shade of brown whose innate richness and sensual and soothing warmth extend to our desire for comfort and indulging in simple pleasures that we can bestow on and share with others.
