Memory collectors.
Autumn begins with mimosas... It's hard to disagree with Julian Tuwim's enchanting words, and even harder to resist a slight paraphrase – autumn begins with memories. September is a unique month where the sun still spoils us, yet at the same time, you can distinctly feel in the air that summer is drawing to a close and autumn is about to take centre stage. And where there's autumn, there's nostalgia.
Summer, wait a moment!
Although astronomical summer is ending in just a moment, many of us find it hard to come to terms with it. We intensely ponder – how can we hold onto those holiday memories for longer?
Even the most wonderful memory can fade from our minds over time. To avoid losing the most beautiful moments, take photos. Lots of photos. When we lack motivation, when the camera feels too heavy to take on a mountain trip, when the phone is at the bottom of the bag and hard to find, let's remember that a photo is the only chance to... snatch a memory from the clutches of oblivion. Let's think about how a small effort, culminating in the click of a shutter, will pay off in an unimaginable way – our experience will become the experience of our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren!

If you bring back stacks of photos from your holidays, you absolutely must devise a strategy for "processing" them. Place your most cherished photographs in frames and hang them on the wall or display them on a desk/table – this way, you'll showcase them optimally. Photos that come in second place should be put into albums. At FormAdore, you'll find two types: paste-in photo albums and slip-in photo albums. Throw any remaining photos into special photo boxes. Even if you don't consider many of your shots to be particularly valuable now, remember that in a few years, they might become so. Every photo deserves respect.
If you believe in the power of words no less than the power of images, an elegant memory book will be a bullseye. It's something between a photo album and a diary – you decide what proportions of photos to text you'll use. If you love to write, a memory book will allow you to get artistically "stuck in" :)

Much has already been written about how important it is to arm yourself with a mug of hot tea, a blanket, and a book in autumn (see: the "autumn girl" trend). There's no escaping it! Even if you think it's a cliché, you won't be able to resist the charm of a warm, cosy spot on the sofa. Before you know it, a book will land in your left hand, a mug in your right, and you – imperceptibly – will find yourself under a blanket.
Don't fight autumn nostalgia; let yourself be swept away by it, but in a cheerful way. So, instead of a gloomy read, we suggest you organise your holiday photos and souvenirs. Reminisce, write down the most interesting experiences, place your favourite photos in frames, and store the rest of your keepsakes in a box under the bed. When winter comes, you'll know where to find a little bit of sunshine.
