Below we present tried-and-tested and delicious smoothie recipes, for which you only need a few simple ingredients, a few minutes of spare time, and a blender for shakes.


1. Beetroot and pineapple smoothie


A pink smoothie with beetroot and pineapple is a wonderfully interesting and delicious combination. The beetroot smoothie has a slightly sweet, yet pleasantly refreshing taste.

Ingredients:

  • medium-sized beetroot
  • 1/3 fresh pineapple
  • banana
  • 2-centimetre piece of ginger
  • juice squeezed from an orange
  • juice squeezed from half a lemon
  • a glass of cold water

Peel the beetroot, cut it into small pieces, and transfer to the blender jug. Cut off 1/3 of the pineapple, peel it, and remove the tough core. Add the flesh to the beetroot. To the jug, add the banana, orange and lemon juice, peeled piece of ginger, and water. Blend everything into a smooth smoothie.

2. Strawberry shake with oat flakes

The presented recipe is an ideal way to enjoy a delicious breakfast. All it takes is strawberries, yoghurt, oat flakes, and a blender to conjure up a wholesome meal in a few moments that will keep us full until lunchtime!

Ingredients:

  • a glass of fresh or frozen strawberries
  • banana
  • half a glass of oat flakes
  • a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
  • 200g natural yoghurt
  • 200ml cow's milk or plant-based milk

Pour boiling water over the oat flakes to cover them and set aside to swell for about 10 minutes. Add the soaked flakes to the jug, pour in the milk, add the banana, strawberries, yoghurt, and honey or maple syrup. Blend everything into a velvety shake. Serve the drink well chilled. You can decorate it with refreshing mint leaves.

3. Mango and cucumber smoothie

A mango and cucumber smoothie with a hint of cinnamon is an unconventional, yet incredibly delicious and interesting combination of flavours. You simply must give it a try!

Ingredients:

  • half a cucumber
  • ripe mango
  • a glass of orange juice
  • a teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • optional: a tablespoon of honey or agave syrup, a few ice cubes

Place the peeled cucumber and skinned mango into the blender jug. Add the ginger, orange juice, and if you wish 0 a few ice cubes. Blend everything into a smooth drink. You can sweeten it with honey or syrup. Serve the well-chilled smoothie with a slice of cucumber and mint.

4. Green smoothie with spinach and tea

A spinach smoothie based on green tea is a tasty, energetic, and substantial drink that is definitely worth incorporating into your daily diet.

Ingredients:

  • half an avocado
  • a small banana
  • ripe kiwi
  • 4 handfuls of fresh spinach leaves
  • juice squeezed from 2 oranges
  • juice squeezed from half a lemon
  • half a glass of green tea

Brew the tea in water at 80 degrees Celsius and set aside to cool. Into the blender jug, throw the peeled kiwi, avocado, and banana, add the washed spinach leaves, orange and lemon juice, and tea. Blend everything into a creamy, smooth mass. If the smoothie is too thick 0 add a little more green tea.

5. Kale, apple, and banana shake

Kale is considered one of the healthiest vegetables in the world. You can add your favourite fruits or extras to it and compose delicious green shakes according to your own taste. We suggest a version with apple and banana.

Ingredients:

  • ripe banana
  • apple
  • 3 handfuls of kale
  • 250ml water or milk

Into the blender jug, throw the washed and dried kale, banana cut into smaller pieces, and peeled and cored apple, pour in water or milk, and blend into a uniform mass. That's all 0 an exquisite and nutritious shake is ready!
