The Dry cutlery set was designed in 1982 and for a long time remained the only cutlery collection in the Alessi catalogue. The elegance of the set, together with an attractive finish combining two material textures, made Dry a market success and paved the way for other cutlery series from the Italian 'dream factory'. Achille Castiglioni's design was also recognised by the jury of the 13th edition of the prestigious Compasso d'Oro design competition. Made from high-quality stainless steel, Dry cutlery is a durable, hygienic and striking piece of tableware. The set includes an extremely wide range of cutlery, from the most commonly used to highly specialised utensils for use on special occasions. The espresso spoon included in the Dry collection - like the other pieces in the collection - is characterised by a combination of matt and polished finishes. The set presented here consists of four spoons packaged in a gift box.
