The product presented here is a stainless steel clip dedicated to the Weck jar. Two clips are placed on opposite sides of the lid with a seal in special grooves and pressed to snap onto the jar. The jar, secured in this way, is then subjected to the pasteurisation method of your choice. Note, however, that too high a temperature or too rapid heating of the jar's contents may cause the seal to be pushed out or some of the product to get between the seal and the lid. After the jars have cooled completely, remove the clips and put the jar on the shelf in the pantry, where it awaits its moment - the delicious moment :)
