The product in reality is completely different in terms of material than in the main photo. The mug is glossy and the photo shows a matt mug. @FactoryForm it makes a huge difference.

Mug - a revelation. I am very pleased with this purchase. The capacious brewing cup. Brewing tea and especially herbs is a perfect choice and satisfaction.
The interior has an industrial feel. The mug fits perfectly and is well made.
The capacity is adequate, the walls are quite thick but it is comfortable to hold. Unfortunately, the quality of workmanship is below average - uneven edges on the bottom of the cup.
Wife satisfied. The coffee tastes delicious. Holds well in the hand.

strainer is metal. I thought that it will be also porcelain, which was indicated by the description (only porcelain mentioned). but that's okay. The strainer is very decent aesthetic, very wide (it contacts the mug with the walls), it's also very deep, so you don't have to pour the mug "under the ceiling", it has a small handle, so there's no fear of getting burned by the heated strainer. very nice product. packed in an aesthetic original cardboard box.
