There is method in the madness! The dishes in the
Kintsugi collection are inspired by the sophisticated Japanese art of pottery repair...
Main features:
- Kintsugi is the method (art!) of joining broken vessels with a binder containing precious metals, primarily gold.
- In the eclectic Kintsugi collection by Seletti, each porcelain vessel looks 'repaired' - although the crack is not so much masked as made visible, the end result is amazing!
- The Kintsugi collection is very extensive, and you can build a complete tableware for special occasions from it.
Materials used:
- The dinnerware in the Kintsugi collection from Seletti is made of porcelain.
- The gold decorations are made of 24-carat gold.
Good to know!
- The dishes are not dishwasher-safe (...but what does this minor inconvenience mean in the face of the stunning design?!).
