It performs its function perfectly (I have had various experiences with salt shakers which, although beautiful, did not salt at all or salted like a man possessed). The design is great and the workmanship too.

I was quite surprised to find that this is Ćmielów, which so far I have associated with porcelain with roses and a golden pattern, błeee. The salt and pepper shakers have an original design, nice glassy smooth porcelain and a "non-intrusive" inlet for pouring. My only remark, which is not a negative one, but still ... these are small containers, even though on photos they seem larger

Not recommended. The only advantage of the Cone pepper shaker and salt cellar is its nice and original design. However, these items are completely non-ergonomic and non-functional. Filling them with salt/pepper requires the patience of a Buddhist monk (that's why you probably won't find an instructional video anywhere on the web!) - you fill them by pouring them through the same hole you use for salt/pepper (you wouldn't want to fill any salt shaker in such a way, and one that has only one small hole in particular). They are only suitable for very finely ground salt/pepper (larger grains will not go through the hole). It is too much form over substance. I bought it, I regret it, I will not use it.

They look insane, but are completely unusable. There's loose plastic in the handle that you turn, it peels off the wood and spins without grinding the pepper or salt.
