The clock presented here by
Arne Jacobsen, the internationally renowned Danish architect and interior designer, is a showcase of classic, timeless Danish design. This is not surprising if we consider that this design was created in
1939 as a reference to the designer's famous chairs from the Ant and No.7 series, which have already passed into the canon of global design. With the typical elegance of the Rosendahl brand, the Arne Jacobsen clock impresses with its
graphic character, its metal (and in some models gold-plated) base, its
round ABS plastic case and, available in many versions - both with an index with Roman numerals, Arabic numerals and in other versions, a dial shielded by a
glass of scratch-resistant, hardened glass. Similarly, the case of the clock is available in several colour versions, and the design of the hands matches the style of the dial and index. The clock is equipped with an
alarm function, a
snooze function and
LED backlighting. The clock is powered by
two AA batteries (batteries not included).
Note - clocks with gold legs, have stainless steel legs coated with brass, which are additionally subjected to a coating-fixing, electrochemical process.
