V-Blade Good Grips Mandoline

The V-blade slicer presented here features an angled stainless steel blade. The blade has a four-stage slice thickness adjustment (1.5, 3.0, 4.5 and 6.0 mm), a julienne function (3 mm bars) and a fries function (6 mm bars). The steel blade cuts through very soft produce such as tomatoes without crushing them, as well as cutting hard fruit and vegetables into regular, even slices. Typical of the Good Grips collection, the soft, tactile, non-slip rubber handle as well as the non-slip rubber feet and the fold-out stand with non-slip coating ensure stability of the tool and protect the countertop from scratches during slicing. The high-quality plastic surface has protuberances that prevent sliced ingredients from sticking to the surface of the slicer. Included with the slicer is a hand guard whose spring-loaded design presses down on the sliced product so that it can be sliced all the way through.
