The slicer presented here with thickness control and julienne function is equipped with an angled stainless steel blade with a three-stage slice thickness control (1.5, 3 and 6 mm) and a julienne blade cutting function for 3 mm bars. The stainless steel blade cuts through very soft produce such as tomatoes without crushing them, as well as cutting hard fruit and vegetables into regular, even slices. Typical of the Good Grips collection, the soft, tactile, non-slip rubber handle as well as the non-slip rubber feet and fold-out stand with non-slip coating ensure stability of the tool and protection of the worktop from scratches during slicing. The surface made of high-quality plastic has protuberances that prevent sliced ingredients from sticking to the surface of the slicer. Included with the slicer is a hand guard whose spring-loaded design presses down on the sliced product so that it can be sliced all the way through.
