Bodega Wine decanter

A wine decanter, such as the Bodega model from Nude, is usually used for decanting and serving wine. Its main purpose is to aerate the wine, which can improve its flavour and aroma. Decanters are not usually designed to heat liquids. When it comes to heating wine, such as mulled wine, pots or special heaters are usually used for this purpose. Using a decanter for this purpose, especially over an open flame or candle, can be risky. The glass of the decanter may not be resistant to sudden changes in temperature, which can lead to breakage.
