Description
The Shorebird decorative figurine from Normann Copenhagen, is a homely sculpture that will transform the character of any interior. An elegant and cheerful decoration by the Icelandic designer, it will work well in both the living room and bedroom, adding charm to any dresser or shelf. Available in three sizes and four colours for the legs and beak, the wading birds will also make an excellent gift proposal for those who appreciate original accessories and minimalism broken with raw, carefully selected furnishings with a striking character. Made of oak, the Shorebird figurine with lacquered wooden legs will look best in a larger group consisting of smaller and larger 'relatives' of the snipe family - elements of the collection. The largest bird is the curlew, a large wading bird with a long, characteristically kinked beak. The medium-sized bird is a bloodwing, a migratory bird with long legs and a straight beak. The smallest figure, on the other hand, is a reflection of the screech-owl, a small bird that has a habit of bobbing its head and tail as it walks on the ground and even swings on its relatively short legs.
