The Romana White clock is a clock with history, or rather a clock dusted with the dust of history - and the history of ancient Rome! This is because the glass face of the clock is white and beige in colour, and the way the shades have been blended together makes the clock appear to be sprinkled with dust from an archaeological dig. The uneven colouring and asymmetrical patches enhance the impression. An additional and equally interesting feature of the dial is the pendulum, hidden on the back and only visible in the 6 o'clock aperture. The large Roman numerals make it easy to read the time and add years to the clock.
