The 50's... Smeg!

Back in the 50s? Why not? But only in good style. The Italian brand Smeg took retro design to the workshop, not forgetting the quality of workmanship and its technology. This is how the 50's Style line was created - a collection of small kitchen appliances taken out alive from the era of our grandmothers.

The manufacturer Smeg is the market leader for kitchen appliances "Made in Italy". Those Italian brand products are a demonstration of the craftsmanship of world-class designers; in addition to its extremely impressive design, the household appliances from the Smeg stables impress with modern technological solutions and attention to detail.

The assortment of small kitchen appliances of the Italian brand is characterized by the use of durable materials such as stainless steel, zinc alloys, aluminum or tritanium (BPA-free plastic), which are not only solid but also completely safe for the human body.

Tea in good taste

The basic element for tea brewing is its temperature- it's common knowledge, not only for experts. That's why temperature-controlled kettles will be the perfect match with tea lovers. The temperature of boiled water can be set and it varies from 50°C to 100°C. The kettle also has an extremely useful temperature maintenance function so that a sudden phone call or the arrival of a postman does not interfere with the tea brewing process.

Smeg kettles is a showcase of aesthetic skills of Smeg designers combined with high quality workmanship and proven technological solutions. The glossy painted steel housing is finished with stainless steel elements and a chrome-plated handle. The 50's Style kettles are also characterised by the "Soft Opening" system, which allows a smooth opening of the lid or the possibility to rotate the kettle body on the base by 360°C.

Crispy toast, warm buns, toasted sandwiches

Another proposal of Smeg brand from the 50's Style line are two models of toasters - for two and four slices. Retro style manifests itself in the beautiful harmonious shape of the toasters, which will certainly become a real decoration of the kitchen worktop. In addition to stylish solutions such as the lacquered steel housing and the chrome-plated knob with backlighting, Smeg toasters have a number of useful features.

Toaster pockets are equipped with a function of automatic bread centring, thanks to which toasts are evenly baked on both sides. Smeg also went a little further in terms of the capabilities of the 50's Style toasters, which in addition to preparing traditional toasts, can also heat, defrost and bake slices from only one side. It is also worth remembering about the possible retrofitting of toasters with a grating for heating buns and a frame for heating ready sandwiches.

Beautifully formed multi-tasking

The range of 50's Style collections include stylish blenders, which will significantly accelerate the culinary processes and make them simply enjoyable. The Smeg hand blender not only blends, but also beats and crushes food products. The comfortable, ergonomic handle contributes to the high comfort of use, even with long work.

The 50's Style blender will certainly charm lovers of delicious smoothies. A large capacious cup with a perfectly shaped spout will make your fridge always full of refreshing, fruity cocktails. An additional advantage of the blender is the ice crushing function, which will be appreciated especially during summer heat.

In the case of blenders, it is worth paying attention to the material of which the bowl is made of in direct contact with food. Smeg emphasizes that the plastic used for the 50's Style blenders is BPA free and completely safe for health.

Squeeze as much as you can!

With the 50's Style range squeezers, preparing healthy juices is not only easy and quick, but also extremely pleasant. The satisfaction of use is mainly due to the retro design of the squeezers, distinguished by pastel colours and subtle, streamlined form. Smeg squeezers will bravely handle any amount of processed vegetables and fruits, mainly thanks to their high power and anti-slip feet that prevent the devices from sliding over a slippery counter top.

The 50's Style citrus squeezer won't get dusty. In summer it will be used to make refreshing lemonade and in winter to prepare immunity-enhancing juices with a large dose of vitamin C. The intelligent device starts up when you press the fruit down on the squeeze cone, which saves a lot of energy. For those with slightly more demanding taste, Smeg has developed a slow-speed squeezer; the device gently processes vegetables and fruits with a screw roller that rotates only 43 times per minute! Importantly, the squeezer has a lever to adjust the juice consistency, which can be either clear or dense according to taste.

Modern technology in vintage style

If an Italian appliance manufacturer offers a coffee machine, you can be sure that every coffee prepared by the machine will have a true Italian soul. To complete the 50's Style collection, Smeg has chosen a flask type of coffee maker, which delights both in appearance and function. According to the design guidelines of the 1950s, the coffee machine has a simple but elegant form. The robust stainless steel housing conceals a high-tech interior with functions such as "Thermoblock", which speeds up the heating of the water or the regulation of water temperature and hardness. The 50's Style Coffee Maker is brewed at up to 15 bar, resulting in a truly Italian "little black" coffee.

An equally rich interior enjoys a multi-purpose mixer from the 50's Style line. In the development of the food processor, Smeg relied as much on beautiful retro design as on multi-tasking. With the 800 W mixer, most kitchen processes are shortened to an absolute minimum. The Smeg Robot blends, beats, kneads dough, mixes solid and liquid ingredients. The "Smooth Start" function prevents the processed products from splashing by starting the mixing process gently. A sophisticated mechanism of planetary movement makes the consistency of mixed ingredients quickly become homogeneous. Special noodle moulding caps (available as an accessory) with the capabilities of the 50's Style mixer are the cherry on top!

Made in Italy - that sounds proud

Products from the Smeg 50's Style line are proof of the deep awareness of the Italian brand, which knows perfectly well that functionality must go hand in hand with design. The collection of modern household appliances stylized for the 50's is an example of effective cooperation between Italian designers and engineers. Smeg proves that products with the "Made in Italy" label can be not only visually attractive but also functional and comfortable to use.
