A good sports towel must not only be the right size, but also made from a quality material. When it comes to physical activity, it's best to opt for a model made of a highly absorbent fabric. Special gym towels are an excellent choice, as they perfectly soak up moisture. This will significantly enhance your workout comfort. They are also thin, so they don't take up much space in your bag and dry quickly. Terry cotton is a solid material, especially desirable for gym towels, which are used and washed very frequently.

When choosing a quick-drying gym towel, also consider its size. A small model will be perfectly sufficient for wiping your hands and forehead, but if you're doing strength training with machines – go for a large towel that you can lay on the equipment before you start using it.

When you want to use a dry sauna, it's essential to take a towel with you. This is required by sauna etiquette and for hygiene reasons. It's no secret that during a sauna visit, we secrete large amounts of sweat from our bodies, so we should avoid direct contact between our skin and the bench. Sweat can penetrate the wood, causing it to rot and accumulate bacteria and mould. Wondering what kind of towel to choose for the sauna? Many people opt for white towels, which we also recommend because they are associated with cleanliness and look extremely aesthetically pleasing. Furthermore, they won't discolour your body due to contact with moisture.

If you're not convinced by white models, there's nothing stopping you from taking a coloured towel to the sauna. In that case, remember to pay particular attention to the material it's made from. Ideally, it should be high-quality cotton, such as terry fabric. This way, you'll avoid the risk of discolouration. What's more, it's a durable material that won't get damaged even with frequent washing at high temperatures.

When choosing a sauna towel, also consider its dimensions. To ensure your comfort, opt for larger models with the longest side measuring 180 or 200 cm. This way, you'll be sure that your body won't come into contact with the bench, even when lying down. It will also allow you to keep your feet off the wooden planks.

In the sauna, we should be naked, but if you feel self-conscious, bring an additional towel with you. Choose a thin model with 'good breathability' and don't wrap the towel too tightly around your body. This is very important because skin evaporation will only occur on a limited surface area, and the toxins expelled from the body will soak into the towel, which has direct contact with your skin.

Swimwear, head covering, favourite snacks, and a towel – this is the absolute minimum equipment for every beachgoer. When it comes to towels, a beach towel can serve many functions. Not only will it dry your body after coming out of the water, but it can also replace a blanket for lying on the sand or cover you if it gets chilly. A beach towel often becomes a companion for picnics or other outdoor excursions. How to choose the best one and enjoy it for a long time?

When choosing a beach towel, pay attention primarily to its absorbency. Although thick towels absorb water well, they are also heavy, and therefore not very comfortable to transport to the beach. It's better to opt for towels with a grammage of 450-500 g/m2 – they are relatively light, quite absorbent, and dry quickly in the sun. After your beach day, you can easily pack them into even a small bag. When choosing, also consider the material of the product. Opt for terry towels, as they are durable, pleasant to the touch, and easy to keep clean. They will work wonderfully in contact with a child's delicate skin or an adult's sun-tanned body. Terry fabric is also a durable material that won't get damaged from washing, and if beach-going is your hobby – the towel will certainly end up in the washing machine often!

If it's the beach, it's also about relaxation and fun! So, when buying beach towels, don't limit yourself to muted colours. Although many people opt for a grey, black, or white model, try to save them for other occasions and be tempted by patterned, colourful proposals. Enhance the holiday vibe with a towel featuring pineapples, watermelons, or palm trees. You can also opt for stripes reminiscent of a nautical style or stand out from the crowd with floral motifs. Remember to go for good quality towels, as otherwise there's a risk of the colours fading quickly.

If you're hosting guests in your home or flat, put together a separate set of towels for their use. Hang at least two small towels for drying hands or face by the washbasin, and your friends or family will surely appreciate the clean, fresh-smelling products prepared especially for them.
