The colour for the coming year is Classic Blue. Shock and awe? Not really, after all, its very name suggests it's a rather classic and subdued choice.
In our humble opinion, it pairs splendidly with the outgoing year's colour, Living Coral (we wrote about it in the Magazine: In 2019, the king is... Living Coral!), so rest assured ", there's no need to chuck out your coral armchair from the living room or peel off that coral-patterned wallpaper from your bedroom walls. ;) Classic Blue feels right at home alongside its older sibling.

The Pantone Institute describes the 2020 Colour of the Year in rather eloquent terms, simultaneously justifying their choice.
It's a shade that helps us maintain our calm and self-assurance, while also underlining our yearning for stability and the desire to build a strong foundation to help us as we cross the threshold into a new era.
That's a rather optimistic outlook, wouldn't you say? If Classic Blue truly has such a profound impact, then there's nothing for it but to infuse our interior designs with navy accents. Luckily, that won't be a tall order! The 2020 Colour of the Year is versatile and quite "safe" ", its presence in the living room, bedroom, kitchen, or bathroom won't raise any eyebrows. What's more, the Classic Blue shade is genuinely easy to incorporate.
