Opinion Ciatti is a family story that began in 1950 in sunny Florence. Rolando Ciatti, a curious and astute observer of the rapid technological and cultural changes occurring at the turn of the century, recognised the need to create a place in the home for a new, peculiar device that would forever change the habits of Italians and people around the world – the television. Thus, in Borgo San Frediano, in Florence's Oltrarno district, the Ciatti company was born, becoming the first Italian manufacturer of television cabinets.
Since then, the brand has continuously evolved, with successive generations of the Ciatti family inviting the best Italian designers to collaborate. These designers not only perfectly understand the changing needs of users but also – as befits Italians – feel the spirit of 'la grande bellezza' and 'la dolce vita'. In 2018, based on Bruno Rainaldi's sketches, Ptolomeo Vino was created – a spectacular wine rack that is both a tribute to its predecessor and an intriguing and beautiful object, perfectly blending functionality with artistic expression, inviting you to taste the produce of Tuscan vineyards.
