Kupu and Kupu 10 smoke detectors
The brand offers two types of smoke detectors designed by Harri Koskinen: Kupu and Kupu 10. They look virtually identical, differing only in the available colour palette. These are flat, rounded-corner cubes clad in soft fabric and equipped with an optical mechanism that detects microparticles of smoke and carbon monoxide in the air.
These two types differ only in their power source: Kupu is powered by three 3V lithium batteries, while Kupu 10 is equipped with a rechargeable battery covered by a 10-year warranty. The detectors, available in several colour variants, are attached to the ceiling to warn us in time in case of danger. Besides, how much nicer do they look in an interior than standard detectors! You could even mistake them for wall decorations!
Lento smoke detectors
Kupu detectors look lovely on the ceiling... but Lento detectors are true little works of art! Operating on the same principle as the simpler Kupu, Lento detectors take the form of striking and eye-catching insects. A sizeable moth, available in one of several pastel colours, will be an original guardian of safety for all household members.
Phoenix household fire extinguisher
Phoenix, designed by Oiva Toikka, is the world's first fire extinguisher specifically designed for kitchen use. Lightweight and compact, it is above all easy to use thanks to its intuitive spray nozzle. What's more, it's simply attractive and will undoubtedly sit proudly on the counter among other kitchen utensils.
