Discover the recipe for homemade sugar-free ice cream.

How to make homemade egg-free ice cream?
Traditional ice cream is prepared using whipping cream or milk with cooked egg yolks, along with sugar and various flavourings. It's the addition of egg yolks that prevents ice crystals from forming in the ice cream, ensuring it remains soft after freezing and can be easily scooped into bowls. However, much like with sugar, eggs can be successfully replaced with other ingredients. Which ones? Find out for yourself by checking the egg-free ice cream recipes below.
Banana and Cocoa Ice Cream
One of the secret ingredients that makes ice cream thick and gives it a velvety, creamy texture once prepared are bananas. However, we must remember to choose very ripe fruit for homemade ice cream, i.e., deeply yellow with mottled, slightly brown skin. See how to easily make delicious homemade ice cream without a machine and with just two ingredients!
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe bananas
- 3 tablespoons of bitter cocoa
- silicone ice cream moulds
Preparation:
- Peel and slice the bananas into smaller pieces, transfer to a freezer-safe container, and put them in the freezer for about 60 minutes.
- After this time, transfer the bananas to a blender and blend into a smooth mixture. Add cocoa. Mix everything thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixture to silicone moulds and place in the freezer for about 2 hours.
- Serve with seasonal fruits.
