Humdakin is a Danish brand created by Camilla Schram, who made it her mission to ensure that cleaning and body care products are not only effective but also hypoallergenic, environmentally friendly, elegant, and beautifully scented. Yes, cleaning can be pleasant and effortless if you use Humdakin's designer products, we promise!
Hmm... does this mysterious name signify a kind of humpback whale frolicking carefree in the ocean? Or perhaps it's a type of lichen recently discovered by botanists deep in the forest? Not at all!

While still studying law, Camilla Schram founded a cleaning company that, for 10 years, cleaned private homes and businesses. This venture captivated her so much that she dropped out of university to dedicate herself fully to it. But for her, cleaning was much more than just a money-making endeavour – it was about crafting an experience, creating a unique space for her clients that would allow them to relax in cleanliness, peace, and a sense of security. Camilla paid attention to every detail – ensuring that the fragrant soap by the sink wouldn't cause allergies and smelled delightful, that towels always looked fresh from the laundry, and that beds were made as if in the most exclusive boutique hotel.
Time for an epiphany
During her work, she observed that her clients often lived in a state of disarray, simply waiting for her to come and tidy everything up. There was also a lack of friendly, ecological, and responsible products and detergents on the market that would allow them to maintain order daily with minimal effort, and that interacting with them would be pleasant enough for clients to start taking care of cleanliness not just for special occasions. Thus, the idea for the Humdakin brand was born!

From the very beginning, the brand focused on several key points. And here they are!

Now that we know a bit about the brand, it's time for specifics – the brand offers many refined products for home cleaning, as well as for body care. After extensive testing and research in the lab, the brand selected a list of ingredients that form the basis of their products:
red seaweed – contains many antioxidants, amino acids, and vitamins A, B, C, and E. The extract protects sensitive and dry skin from irritation and prevents the release of free radicals, which accelerate the ageing process.
chamomile – its medicinal and soothing properties have been known for years; it helps calm irritated skin and has a gentle, beautiful fragrance.
sage – the name of this herb comes from the Latin "salvare", which literally means "to heal". Sage is rich in calcium and vitamin A, which support cell renewal, and has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
sea buckthorn – this super berry is packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that keep skin in good condition and prevent dryness. Sea buckthorn is especially recommended for sensitive skin.
birch – birch extract has nourishing, antibacterial, and soothing properties.
elderflower – grows wild in Scandinavian nature. Raw, it has toxic properties, but when processed, it becomes an incredibly valuable source of vitamin C and can slow down the skin's ageing process.
peony – a beautiful, lush flower whose extract activates the skin's regenerative powers, firms and moisturises.
cranberry – these charming red berries are very capable; they are a natural source of vitamin C and antioxidants that support collagen production. Cranberry extract gives skin a radiant and healthy appearance.
marigold – this yellow flower helps with inflammation and wound healing, rashes, skin irritations, and minor cuts.
nettle – it may not have the best reputation, but it is definitely underestimated. Its extract contains many valuable vitamins, minerals, fats, and amino acids that delay the skin's ageing process.
wild lemongrass – excellent for sensitive skin, it has antibacterial properties. It also contains magnesium, zinc, and vitamins A, B, and C.
rhubarb – full of antioxidants that have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and soothing properties for irritated skin. It also protects the skin from free radicals.
