It comes in handy when we get home from work or leave for school in the morning. It is indispensable when friends drop by for an unannounced visit. It easily holds all your coats, hats and women's handbags. Hanging, standing, with a shelf or even with a mirror - the hall hanger is fortunately no longer just a board with a few pegs. As well as being extremely practical, it can also surprise you with its form and style.
The hallway is the business card of the home - it's hard to disagree. After all, it is where we welcome guests and the postman. And it certainly doesn't escape the eyes of our neighbours when we slightly open the door. Visitors judge the design and atmosphere of the entire home on its arrangement. So let's make the entrance to the house a pleasant harbinger of what they will see in the rest of the house. A well-kept, yet functional entrance hall will certainly encourage repeat visits. Remember that you can only make a first impression once.

When you get home, you can take off your coat and place it on a hanger with a flick of the wrist. We don't have to put our coat in the wardrobe only to reach for it again a moment later when we go for a walk with the dog. And when the family visits? Storing their clothes on a chair or stuffing them in a cupboard is not the best idea, especially if it is snowing or raining outside. Although we don't notice it every day, a coat hanger makes life a lot easier. It will work in any hallway, we just have to choose the right size and also the type to match the décor.
Raw shapes and shiny stainless steel are particularly suitable for minimalist interiors. Wooden models are ideal for classic and Scandinavian styles. Fans of modern flats will certainly be interested in hangers in fanciful shapes - a moose head or an underground line on the wall is a humorous, yet original decoration. Another good option is brightly coloured hangers. They bring life and energy to dark, windowless hallways.
If your hallway is small, you don't need a free-standing three-legged hanger, but a small hook on the wall will do the trick. They can be mounted individually, so you can decide how much space you want for them. They are especially useful in a house with small children - place one of them at a suitable height for them. When you decide on a wall-mounted model, it is worth looking for one with a shelf. It won't take up much more space, and you can put your gloves, hat or scarf on it when you come home from work. If you have a lot of space, you may be tempted to buy an upright hanger. Remember, however, that it should be stable and at least 160 cm high, so placing a coat, even a long one, will not be a problem. Also make sure the coat hooks are at different heights, so that everyone, regardless of height, can use it.
They may seem inconspicuous, but they keep your coat close at hand and keep the hallway neat and tidy. Skilfully selected hangers will also fit in perfectly with the décor of the room, adding to its charm and character.
