We love food that's quick, simple, and delicious. And when it's eaten in beautiful surroundings – for example, in a park or on the beach – it tastes even better!
We asked our favourite creators, known online as @obiaddlataty, @smyk_w_kuchni_blog, and @pysznieczyprzepysznie, for their ideas for picnic snacks that you can take with you to the lake, the park, the beach... You'll find the tasty recipes below!
This delicious rhubarb tart, from a recipe by @smyk_w_kuchni_blog, doesn't even require a packet of instant custard! If you're planning to take it to the beach, it's best to store it in a cooler bag – that way it'll stay appetising and fresh, even when you're soaking up the sun ;-)
Ingredients:
Pastry:
Vanilla Cream:
Method:
1. Prepare the pastry: Knead the pastry ingredients together, wrap in cling film, and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Then, line a baking tin with the chilled pastry and bake for 17 minutes at 180°C.
2. Place the milk, butter, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
3. Dissolve the flours in 50 ml of milk and add to the boiling mixture, stirring constantly.
4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the egg yolks, incorporating them into the mixture with a whisk. Bring the whole mixture to a boil again.
5. Pour onto the pre-baked tart base and top with rhubarb to your liking.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 170-180°C (top and bottom heat).
Cool, and it's ready. Enjoy!

Monika, known on Instagram as @pysznieczyprzepysznie, suggested Italian grissini breadsticks, which are perfect as a snack, either on their own or with other accompaniments.
Ingredients:
Method:
1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Add the plain flour, olive oil, salt, and dried herbs.
2. Knead the dough using a stand mixer or by hand for 10 minutes.
3. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with a cotton cloth, and leave to rise for 1 hour.
4. Turn the risen dough out onto a work surface and divide it into 6 portions. Roll each portion on the surface into a very thin sausage. Divide the sausage into 20 cm smaller sticks and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Set the tray aside while the oven preheats. Preheat the oven to 200°C with fan assist.
5. Bake the grissini for 10-15 minutes and cool on a wire rack.

And no grilling needed! These are perfect as a snack for a picnic or at the beach, and their convenient form makes them easy to enjoy even without plates. This snack suggestion and photos were prepared for us by Sylwia @obiaddlataty.
Savoury:
Camembert cheese, cherry tomatoes, grapes, Parma ham or salami – all sprinkled with freshly ground pepper and balsamic glaze.
