Ambiente is one of the largest consumer goods fairs in Europe. It would be a sin not to be there and not to check out the novelties that manufacturers and suppliers had prepared for us. So, what happened during those first days of February? What captivated us? Check it out!
This year, the seventh partner country of the world's largest consumer goods fair – following Denmark, France, Japan, the United States, Italy, and Great Britain – was the Netherlands. However, among the exhibitors, we mainly saw familiar manufacturers who often surprised us, though sometimes disappointed. Nevertheless, we'd love to introduce a few novelties to the FormAdore offer.

The Alessi brand captivated us with its exquisitely prepared stand, which looked straight out of an art gallery. Since photography was forbidden, we'll try to convey that atmosphere... Besides, it was all about the olfactory experience, not the visual one.
Marcel Wanders, a designer with whom the Italian brand has collaborated for many years, designed a collection of incredible fragrances in beautiful bottles. These ethereal aromas are a new trend worth following. In our offer, you can already find beautifully scented natural candles from WoodWick and Max Benjamin, as well as fragrance cards and diffusers.

In the Scanpan brand's offer presented at the fair, we found something that you will surely love too! These are pots and pans in a trendy copper finish – functionality and beauty in one!

Lekue, as always, did not disappoint. The brand's stand was colorful and vibrant with intriguing forms. We discovered gadgets for making perfect poached eggs, as well as for... grilling in the microwave! Sounds bizarre? You'll soon find out it's no joke!

The exhibition curated by Sebastian Bergne presented the latest innovative home products. The presentation was divided into two zones: the first focused on the role of inspiration and concept creation, while the second showcased the finished product.
Among the standout products were a futuristic cheese grater designed by Zaha Hadid for Alessi, multifunctional, eco-friendly bags from Cosy Table, and also espresso cups by Marek Cecuła for Ćmielów Design Studio.

As every year, at Ambiente 2018, the Plagiarius award was presented – a mocking gnome statuette, referencing popular German garden figures. The exhibition dedicated to plagiarism featured, among others, original products also available in our offer: from Koziol and Oxo. They were juxtaposed with cheap fakes from Chinese manufacturers, which look significantly worse than the originals (not to mention their questionable quality) – one glance is enough to easily appreciate the craftsmanship of the original designs!

Dutch designer, Robert Bronwasser, designed the DO DUTCH exhibition, located in Gallery 1. The display introduced visitors to the characteristic Dutch way of thinking and acting, by placing Dutch icons in a new, surprising context.
Within the framework of Ambiente Academy, interesting lectures were presented by experts. As a complement to the exhibition showcasing the latest interior trends, there was also a discussion about what's hot in interiors. Among the important events, we must mention the awarding of the main German Design Award to the Foonka brand for its Hayka bedding. Congratulations! Meanwhile, we returned tired and ready to introduce hot new products to our offer!
