The crisis of white. This is how one can briefly summarise the period that has arrived in the world of interior furnishings. Designers, architects, and trendsetters are sounding the alarm: Scandinavian minimalism has become tiresome. We crave colours, patterns, forms, and textures!
Less is more?
How long can one shiver in austere, minimalist interiors without a speck of colour? Some are voicing a thought that has long been flitting through everyone's minds – snow-white interiors look best in photos.
...not anymore!
In practice, it turns out they are not only "cold" and unwelcoming but also rather impractical. Faced with such serious accusations, minimalists will undoubtedly protest; however, many people will welcome the upcoming trends with a sigh of relief!

The autumn/winter interior colour palette has been conquered by uncompromising neons. Particular attention should be paid to the intense pink known as magenta. It looks especially stunning when paired with navy blues and blacks. An arrangement touched by vibrant pink is just the ticket!
But hold on – we're not talking about ascetic Scandinavian style here! Wood, wicker, rattan – these are the essential ingredients for your autumn/winter living room arrangement. Timeless beauty lies in the raw grain of wood, the irregular weaves of wicker, and the whimsical shapes of rattan.
How do you discover it? Simply let it be – no painting, no varnishing, no covering up. Hand over your cosy home to the embrace of Mother Nature, trust her, and enjoy a beautiful interior. If you're not a fan of the rustic style, you can opt for just a few small accessories, for example, wooden picture frames.

Brits love marble. If you find yourself among the enthusiasts of stone finishes, you'll be delighted to hear that you can spend the entire autumn/winter season surrounded by marble, granite, or terrazzo. Without a shadow of a doubt that the stone trend is old hat... after all, what's more durable than stone? :) As you can see, its longevity also holds true in interior design trends.

The glamorous velour has made a comeback. Its presence in an arrangement is like a royal visit – it demands elegant behaviour and significantly elevates the class of an interior. Velvety materials look best dressed in dark colours: the navy of an evening sky, the green of a pine forest, or the burgundy of a royal cloak. Their charm will be wonderfully accentuated by gold accessories (which, notabene, are also in vogue!), such as candlesticks, clocks, or vases.
Velour is demanding – it requires space and skillful arrangement. It's easy to overburden an interior with it, yet it shouldn't be administered in small doses, as it will lose all its charm and potential. A safe bet is a velour pouffe – a versatile piece of furniture, neither too big nor too small.

...but did we even manage to leave it for a moment? The ubiquitous monstera and palm leaves might have become tiresome even for avid botanists and lovers of exotic motifs straight from the heart of the jungle. However, there's good news – the tropical trend is now expanding to include our own climate zone.
Therefore, in our interior design garden, we need to make room for colourful flowers and delicate, slender plants. Heads up! In line with this autumn's prevailing eclectic trend, patterned furniture and accessories don't necessarily have to be displayed on uniform, smooth surfaces. A bit of interior design madness is perfectly fine!
The wonderful rugs from the Obsession brand fit perfectly into autumn interior trends, offering many colourful and patterned options.
