The
Form 140/1 vase presented here is a glass accessory that tapers at both the base and the top. In contrast to the 130 model, however - the vases from this version are more bulky and resemble wine gourds with a cut neck. The delicate form as well as the streamlined shapes give the impression of
lightness and this despite the large circumference. This vase looks good not only with flowers - it can also be a decoration in itself. The design, characteristic of
minimalist patterns, catches the eye from the first glance.
The Form Series is a tribute to the art department operating at
Lyngby in the first phase of the brand's existence. It was in this section that the most
talented artists worked, painting intricate and delicate animal, landscape and floral motifs on porcelain. The art department worked with forms known for their
minimalism. Today, in recognition of their work, Lyngby has created the Form collection, which also impresses with its simplicity, but also with its novelty, using
glass rather than porcelain as the material for the accessories in this line.
