The Hibiya No Tokei clock is a design that proves that harmony between the circle and the square is possible and is... on trend. The modern design by Japanese brand Lemnos features
a circular white dial and black case, but its most important features are undoubtedly the
geometric shapes of the hands and hour index. The black
rectangular-shaped hands move along the
squares placed around the dial, one of which, the most important one, is decorated with
a red dot. The clock is available
in two sizes, of which the smaller, floating, S version has a wider, steel case and a seconds hand, while the larger, ticking L version has a narrower, aluminium case and two hands - a minute and an hour hand. The smaller of the clocks also features a flowing seconds hand.
The Japanese brand Lemnos takes its name from the Greek island inhabited, according to Greek mythology, by
the god Hephaestus - the protector of all craftsmen. Indeed, the brand's clocks are produced with the care and commitment typical of craftsmen who put not only their skills but also their hearts into their work. Lemnos clocks are additionally an example of beautiful and functional design. These are clocks which, in addition to telling time, define the character and create the personality of the interiors in which they are placed.
