Ultima Thule is the Latin name sometimes used to refer to Greenland - the decorations of the pieces in the collection refer to this fact, evoking the motif of water and ice. The extremely striking decoration is the result of methods developed over the years. The glass from which the dishes are made is shaped in wooden moulds, thanks to which the elements of the collection differ in texture - the texture changes as the moulds are fired through the heated glass.
