Unique glasses created from an idea by
Tapio Wirkkala. Designed in 1954, they are still produced by the Iittala brand today.
Main features:
- Tapio's Finnish glasses are characterised by the bubble enclosed in the leg. It is formed there by means of a moist wooden stick. This method, which was innovative in the 1950s, is now used on a large scale.
- The stem is wide and solid.
- The capacity of one glass is 250 ml.
How to use:
- The glass is ideal for red wines.
