The word Taika in Finnish means magic, so it is no surprise that this is the name given to the Taika porcelain collection, which like few others brings a magical, fairytale atmosphere to the kitchen and dining room. The extremely decorative service is available in several colour versions, perfectly complementing and matching each other. The design, designed in 2007 by Klaus Haapaniemi, tells an enchanted story, revealing to its users the elements and characters of a fairytale land. In his work, the designer drew inspiration from cartoons originating from Russia and eastern European countries, which are also close to Polish children (or those who were children 20 or more years ago ;). The specific style of hand-drawn lines, evident in the animated cartoons of that period, is the basis of the Taika series illustrations and draws its users into a sentimental journey to a distant land.
