The large Lantern candleholder is a glass sculpture with a delicate character. Glass was, in Harri Koskinen's design, used to create a tall structure based on a cylindrical shape with an attractive soft constriction in the centre. Inside, there is an element for securing the candle, which, in the case of candle holders with a transparent casing, provides an attractive variety to the simple shape. The lantern takes on an incredible charm when the candle is lit. The flame, reflected in the transparent glass, multiplies and appears as a playful flame suspended in the air; in the case of the milky glass version, it illuminates the case providing a soft light. Lantern is just right for modern interiors, its simple charm will delight guests and draw their attention.
