The Tiuku clock is a modern take on the classic pendulum clock. The designer, Ari Kanerva, has replaced the usually heavy and richly decorated form with an extremely simple, yet very striking and eye-catching, design. The body made of powder-coated stainless steel consists of a proportionally small dial and long, slender legs. As in the classic design, there is a pendulum at the bottom of the dial, the shape of which blends in with the streamlined nature of the overall design. The whole is completed by strong contrasts based on expressive colours and black and white. The clock can be freely leaned against the wall or, for greater security, screwed to it. The clock is available in several colour versions. The width at the base is 31 cm and the width at the top edge is 21 cm.
