• With each burn, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface of the candle. This prevents "tunneling" (the formation of craters) and ensures a long, even burn.
• During the first use, allow the top layer of wax to melt completely – for an 8 cm candle, this takes about 3 hours; for 10 cm, 3 to 4 hours; for 16 cm, 5 to 6 hours; and for 24 cm and 35 cm, 8 to 10 hours.
• The approximate total burning time is: 30 hours for an 8 cm candle, 60 hours for 10 cm, 150 hours for 16 cm, 400 hours for 24 cm, and 800 hours for 35 cm.
• The candles have cotton wicks, and their number depends on the size: an 8 cm candle has 1 wick, 10 and 14 cm have 4 wicks each, 24 cm has 5 wicks, and 35 cm has 7 wicks.
