The Virgula Divina bottle opener is a design inspired by wands used in radiesthesia (although most of us will undoubtedly associate the shape of this product with a slingshot:)). Such wands (made of tree branches) were used many thousands of years B.C. to detect underwater springs, as evidenced by drawings found in the Tassili cave in northern Africa (these murals have been proven to be around 8000 years old). The wand as a way to find the source and quench the thirst naturally inspired the designer to create an opener with a twin shape. After all, the bottle opener also opens the way to the source.... The accessory, made of polished 18/10 stainless steel with a mirror effect, will be the perfect gift for any gentleman who, although he has outgrown the slingshot, still feels drawn to fun, original gadgets and good design.
