The moka espresso brewer is an icon of Italian coffee brewing culture. Among the designer yet classic brewers in the Alessi brand's catalogue, the visionary proposal by the famous Mario Trimarchi could not be missed. Fascinated by sculpture and the discovery of form in a formless block, the designer proposed a shape that was created by breaking off successive layers of aluminium from a cylindrical block (harking back to the Stone Age with the technique!). The resulting form resembles an architectural sculpture, which is comfortable to hold in the hand and which not only brews excellent coffee, but also looks beautiful. Made of cast aluminium with a matte black finish, the brewer is equipped with a handle and a tab made of black thermoplastic resin.
