The Dressed tableware series is part of an extremely wide-ranging collection designed by Marcel Wanders for the Alessi brand. The Dutch-born designer has made the Dressed collection one of his trademarks. A characteristic feature of the products in this line is the use of ornaments in an unconventional way, by applying them in unusual places, sometimes completely out of sight of the users. This unusual approach makes interacting with the Dutchman's objects an experience that relates to both the sense of sight and touch. Marcel Wanders' designs are elegant and light, yet full of richness, floral motifs and baroque splendour. The Dressed collection includes porcelain crockery, trays, glasses and pots.
The set of two egg spoons presented here, made of polished 18/10 stainless steel, is part of the Dressed collection dedicated to everyday, yet exquisite breakfasts. The beautiful, rich form of the teaspoon, topped with a small hammer that allows you to elegantly get inside the egg, goes hand in hand with the design of the other pieces in the breakfast collection. It is worth mentioning that the cutlery presented here was created in collaboration with Alberto Gozzi, a culinary expert and lover of soft-boiled eggs. The teaspoons will look great together with the egg glasses from the same collection, available in porcelain or thermoplastic resin.
