The wire basket 826 is one of Alessi's oldest designs. The vessel made of polished steel wire, despite the high production costs, has been in the Alessi range since 1948. The basket in various shapes and sizes has survived changing fashions to become a timeless, recognisable product. The new, smaller version of the "826" basket with a diameter of 15 cm was designed on request by Swiss Airlines and has been included in the Alessi range.
