Citrus is the first of the projects realised by Eero Aarnio for Alessi. The world-renowned Scandinavian designer is known for his pioneering designs made of plastic, which have gone down in industrial design history. The Ball Chair, Pastil Chair and Bubble Chair are icons of contemporary design. The Citrus Citrus Squeezer opens a series of products designed for the 'Dream Factory' by the famous Finn. Available in two finishes - in transparent and opaque orange plastic - the squeezer combines practical features and a design reminiscent of the 1960s. The minimalism characteristic of Scandinavian designers is mixed in this design with Eero Arnio's original line - simple but drawing massive, somewhat primal, shapes.
