Domus Vol. XI 1990-94: The Next Generation Book

For more than 80 years, Domus has remained one of the most influential periodicals treating architecture and industrial design. Founded by the famous Milanese architect Gio Ponti, it has accompanied all important events, and described all trends, in contemporary design.
Each book in the Domus series contains reprints of selected articles from the widely read monthly magazine. The series is divided into 12 volumes covering the years 1928 to 1999.
The eleventh volume presented here covers the period between 1990 and 1994. It is a time when a new generation of architects and designers began to emerge, such as Tadao Ando, Jean Nimoto and others: Tadao Ando, Jean Nouvel, David Chipperfield, Philippe Starck, Rem Koolhaas, Peter Eisenman, Jacques Herzog, Pierre de Meuron, Marc Newson, Rodney Kinsman, Jasper Morrison and the Campana brothers; their work appeared in the periodical alongside projects by such notables as: Frank O.
