Rig-Tig Bread container made of melamine

A minimalist breadbox with a lid that can be used as a cutting board is a proposal from the Jehs & Laub studio. The oval-shaped body is made of a unique composite of melamine and bamboo fibres. The use of 30 per cent bamboo fibre in the production of the material is dictated by ecological considerations. The board covering the breadbox is made of pure bamboo wood. With its minimalist form and neutral colours, the Rig-Tig breadbox is a universal design that works well in any modern interior. The container can be used both to store bread and to serve it on less formal occasions.
