The product description states that it "has an extremely tight seal". Unfortunately, the lid is not screwed on but pushed on. Tightness is supposed to be ensured by silicone gaskets, but the lid does not fit tightly and slightly unseals (I bought two boxes and both have the same problem). Therefore, in my opinion, the box is not safe for transporting liquid food. Waste of money
