The Wire florist is a design that, like the other pieces in this 'wire' collection, perfectly captures the idea of soft minimalism - the trend that the Danish brand Menu is most fond of naming its designs after. The combination of masculine characteristics of the products - such as the simplicity of the forms and the raw nature of the materials with feminine details and curves - makes the products of this manufacturer timeless in the sense that looking at them and admiring them does not get boring for years to come. The flowerbed, Wire, was inspired by the Japanese-style garden that Norm studio designers Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsenze admired on a walk in Los Angeles. The numerous flowerbeds - both standing and hanging - have given the garden a highly decorative dimension with their interesting display of plants of different shapes and sizes. This is also the role to be played by the Wire steel flowerbed, which is available in three different heights to create interesting floral arrangements or to elegantly display individual plants. And since flowers bring natural harmony and tranquillity to a room, they should not be missing from any home.
The Wire tall flowerbed in size L shown here has a tapering shape based on a circular form. The two circles are connected by vertical crossbars, creating a lightweight design that is ideal for austere, minimalist interiors. The flowerbed is sold without a flowerpot (a matching flowerpot is available separately) and can be used not only to display flowers, but also as a stand for the Wire disc lantern, which can be used to illuminate a terrace or balcony.
