Tse Lamp

The Tsé lamp combines minimalist utilitarian design native to Denmark with an Asian decorative motif based on ribbing. The ribbed pattern takes its inspiration from the look of disposable dishes commonly used in roadside bars in Taiwan. Thanks to its soft, universal white colour, the lamp can be installed not only in the kitchen or living room - it can also be found in the hallway, bedroom, study or children's room. Thanks to its shape, the lampshade diffuses the light gently and evenly throughout the room. The lamp is powered by 230V.
The Tsé collection is the result of an international collaboration between the Lyngby brand and the Taiwanese art studio HAN Gallery. The joining of forces has resulted in a series that combines the Danish character of minimalism with the traditional Asian design characteristic of Far Eastern countries. During the creation process, the accessories are fired at such high temperatures that they do not need any subsequent glazing - they are simply polished by hand, acquiring an interesting, rough texture. This contrasts with the commonly used smooth porcelain. It is the contrasts in texture that are characteristic of the accessories in this series.
