Kusmi Tea is one of the oldest tea producers - a tea that has an excellent reputation and is considered one of the most exclusive teas in the world for good reason. Established in 1867 in Tsarist Russia, the brand moved first to London and then to Paris, where it is still based today. Bold flavour compositions, the highest quality and decorative, baroque packaging are the hallmarks of a brand that is sure to appeal to connoisseurs of good taste.
The tea set presented here, a set ideal as a gift set, consists of 5 internationally recognised, beautifully decorated mini Kusmi tea tins of 20 g each and a steel tea brewer. The set includes the following classic Russian blends for which the Kusmi brand is known (some still created by its founder): Prince Vladimir (Earl Grey tea with hints of citrus, spice and vanilla), Anastasia (a mysterious black tea with fruity notes), St. Petersburg (black tea with caramel, red fruits and a hint of vanilla) and Bouquet of Flowers (a blend of Earl Grey tea, flowers and citrus) and Russian Morning.

This set is a great opportunity to try out some tea flavours. For me, the flavours of these teas were a bit disappointing. I liked Anastasia and Russian Morning the most, the others are not my flavours. The dried tea is quite fine, I always thought that the bigger, meatier the leaves the better quality the tea is, but maybe I missed something. I drink good quality teas and on their background Kusmi comes out average. It's best to try it yourself and judge. I would possibly go back to Anastasi.

The ritual of brewing and drinking a series of teas takes you into a wonderful world. Wonderfully balanced compositions, where flavours and scents do not overwhelm or hate each other. The high price, although adequate to the quality of the teas, can be a slight problem to make these teas an indispensable part of the daily evening relaxation ritual. I will certainly return to the shop to buy and taste other teas from the KUSMI series. Professional shipping. I warmly recommend to tea lovers.
