Oliette Olive oil bottle stand

A fan of olive oil and all things tasty and beautiful, native Tuscan - Marta Sansoni - decided to give oil bottles a worthy place on the table. To this end, she has expanded her collection of oil accessories with a steel bottle holder. The holder has an openwork design, representing the branches of an olive tree that grow from the ground, surrounding the walls of the vessel. The form undoubtedly refers to the myth recounting the battle between Athena and Poseidon, who were to give a gift of their choice to the people of Athens in order to settle a dispute over their rule. Poseidon struck a rock with his trident, from which a spring of salt water gushed forth, while Athena touched the ground with her finger, from which grew a beautiful, giant olive tree, and it was her gift that proved to be the more valuable. Although the Oliette saucer has a round form, it will also fit perfectly into square oil bottles and is available in steel and two versions in epoxy-coated steel.
